In December, in the midst of a brutally cold winter, the American Ukrainian Aid Foundation, together with dedicated teams in the United States and Ukraine, brought warmth, joy, and hope to children across central Ukraine.

The American Ukrainian Aid Foundation held Children's Day events in the Eastern Ukrainian towns of Zolotonosha and Smila. We brought joy, nourishment and necessities to more than 200 Orphans and Refugees.

Held event at the Cherkasy Arena Stadium in Ukraine on August 27th, 2023, AUAF hosted 200+ refugee children for a day of fun-filled activities.

My city, Izium, which is near Kharkiv, was attacked and occupied by Russia in early March. It was very scary.  My Mom and I with a few other families were hiding in the basement from Russian soldiers with very little food and water for over a week.

In celebration of International Children’s Day 2023 and the launch of the AUAF Children’s Program, the American Ukrainian Aid Foundation hosted a full-day event at the MSK Dnipro Soccer stadium in Cherkasy, Ukraine.

In partnership with our Ukraine-based sister organization, Dhruhii Front, we were able to source and deliver 360 tourniquets directly to the soldiers in need.

AUAF’s “Keep Ukrainian Children Warm” campaign focused on providing Ukrainian refugee and orphaned children with critically needed warm winter clothing.
