For thousands of Ukrainian children, the new school year begins not with excitement, but with the scars of war. Many have lost a parent, their home, or the sense of safety every child deserves.
The American Ukrainian Aid Foundation (AUAF) is launching our 4th Annual Back-to-School Campaign to support more than 350 vulnerable children directly impacted by the war in Ukraine.
One Backpack, One Celebration. A Powerful Message: You Are Not Forgotten
Our goal is to raise $6,500 to help organize four festivals this September to provide joy, community, and a sense of safety for orphaned children, children of fallen heroes, and children with special needs in the communities of Cherkasy, Smila, Zolotonosha, and Mykhailivka, including:
Just $20 provides one child with a backpack filled with essential school supplies, refreshments, and a day of fun and celebration before the school year begins.
Each backpack is a symbol of hope. It reminds every child they are not forgotten and that their future still matters.
With your help, the American Ukrainian Aid Foundation has brought meaningful support to more than 1,500 displaced children — delivering joy through camps and festivals, meals, essential supplies, and vital aid to hundreds of Ukrainian families and local businesses.
Every tax-deductible donation helps change a child's life and lets them know: You Are Not Forgotten
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
