AUAF Orphan & Refugee Children's Program

The impact of this conflict on the lives of the children of Ukraine will be felt for years to come. Especially for the children who lost their homes and worse, their families.

AUAF’s Children’s program focuses on providing ongoing support for Ukrainian refugee and orphaned children.

How it works:

In partnership with the Mayor of Cherkasy City – Anatolii Bondarenko and the Governor of Cherkasy Oblast (State) – Ihor Taburets, along with support from other regional representatives in Ukraine, refugees and orphans are  identified to participate in the program.

AUAF will run fundraising campaigns focused on key events throughout the year such as:

  • Back to School
  • Holiday Season Gift Drive
  • Winter Clothing Drive
  • International Children’s Day/Spring Celebration
  • Summer Activity Programs

Our goal is to ensure these children not only have their daily necessities, but also to help lift their spirits and give them the opportunity to just be kids.
