As the world celebrates International Children’s Day 2026, far too many young lives in Ukraine have been disrupted by war and displacement.

This summer, the American Ukrainian Aid Foundation is proud to launch its 4th annual children’s campaign, continuing a mission that has already brought hope, comfort, and joy to more than 2,000 Ukrainian children.

We are organizing a series of community events and summer camps for more than 400 orphans and displaced children in Cherkasy, Smila, and Zolotonosha—neighboring communities directly affected by the war.

Your donation will directly contribute to joyful, unforgettable experiences, including:

• T-shirts, and hats for each child
• Backpacks filled with gifts and essentials (all locally sourced)
• Face painting and removable tattoos
• Live music with a DJ, outdoor dancing, and festive activities
• Nutrutious meals, snacks and ice cream
• Interactive entertainment featuring cartoon characters and other performers
• Medal Ceremony - Each child will receive a medal honoring their courage and resilience

In addition, we plan to send as many children as possible to summer camps, where they can be in a safe, supportive environment, receive psychological and emotional care, and begin healing from the trauma caused by war.
